The Forgotten Fund Grants: What does the CACER Facility fund?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-72\">The call supports the construction of new renewable energy installations (including combined with storage systems) included in configurations of <strong>Renewable Energy Communities (RECs)<\/strong> or <strong>Self-Consumption Groups<\/strong><sup><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-73\">PNRR grants can cover up to <strong>40 percent of<\/strong> eligible <strong>project costs<\/strong><sup><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">2. Methods of Disbursement: Advances, Balances and Sureties.<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-78\">The GSE has confirmed the application methods for the contribution<sup><\/sup>, differentiating them according to the size of the system:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-79\">For systems with a capacity less than or equal to 200 kW.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">You can choose from:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Option 1:<\/strong> Advance of up to <strong>30 percent<\/strong> of the maximum contribution, followed by the balance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Option 2:<\/strong> Disbursement in a lump sum (100% balance) upon completion of work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-82\">For systems between 200 kW and 1,000 kW  <sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-83\">In addition to the previous options<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>, a third way is added:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Intermediate Share:<\/strong> Option to apply for <strong>40 percent<\/strong> of the grant after incurring at least 40 percent of eligible expenses and reporting the start of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-85\"><strong>The Bureaucratic Node: Sureties.<\/strong> In order to obtain the 30 percent advance, private entities must compulsorily submit a <strong>bank or insurance surety guarantee covering 100 percent of the required amount<\/strong>. These guarantees must be enforceable on first demand within 30 days. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">4. Environmental Requirements: The DNSH Principle<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"p-rc_5324c4fca65eb661-86\">Access to funds is strictly tied to compliance with the <strong>DNSH<\/strong><em>(Do No Significant Harm<\/em>) principle.<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>. Projects related to fossil fuels, landfills, incinerators and mechanical biological treatment plants are strictly excluded<sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup><sup><\/sup>.
