We support clients in the generation and management of Energy Efficiency Certificates (TEEs or white certificates), ensuring the full value of investments.
TEEs are calculated on the basis of the energy savings achieved as a result of the interventions carried out, measured in tons of oil equivalent (TOE) saved.

White Plus
The White Plus service consists of two main phases: TEE Origination and TEE Management. Whitenergy accompanies you along the entire path, turning your energy savings into certified and economically valuable Energy Efficiency Certificates (TEEs).
1st Phase - TEE Origination
After the intervention is carried out, we report the energy savings achieved to GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici). Once approved, TEEs are issued. Whitenergy manages the entire technical and administrative process and pays the customer an economic fee for each certificate obtained. Whitenergy provides the economic valuation of the TEEs, recognizing the customer a fee for each certificate issued.
2nd Phase - TEE Management
Management of TEEs on the market
Whitenergy handles the management of securities on the GME (Gestore dei Mercati Energetici), selling them on the exchange or through bilateral agreements. The service includes monitoring the market to obtain the best possible value for TEEs, simplifying bureaucracy and ensuring a concrete return for the customer.

White Plus
The project
Poliplast is a company active in the plastics industry, with a plant with high energy requirements. Processing involves the intensive use of electrical and thermal energy, especially for molding and cooling processes.
Initial situation
Prior to the intervention, the plant had significant consumption with high efficiency potential.
Post-intervention
Through the White Plus service, efficiency interventions eligible for the generation of Energy Efficiency Certificates (EEE) were identified. The intervention included:
- Installation of a 441 kW photovoltaic system
- 160 kWh energy storage system
- Reporting years
The project
Cartiera Giacosa is a specialized paper mill with high energy consumption for the operation of drying equipment, pumps and process machinery.
Initial situation
The facility had high energy requirements with significant opportunities for efficiency improvement.
Post-intervention
With the support of White Plus, interventions were developed to access TEE. The main interventions included:
- Implementation of a high-efficiency flue gas treatment system
- Significant reduction in consumption of water, electricity and sludge produced
- Intervention aimed at the circularity of industrial processes

TEEs, also called "white certificates," are instruments that incentivize energy savings. Each certificate represents the savings of one ton of oil equivalent (TEP). They can be obtained by companies that carry out energy efficiency measures and can be sold on the market to generate an economic return.

White Plus is designed for companies active in the industrial sectors that intend to carry out interventions to improve the energy efficiency of their plants and or processes.

3. What is the benefit of white certificates?
The main benefit that comes with white certificates (TEE) is a direct economic return for each ton of oil equivalent (TOE) saved through energy efficiency measures . The counter economic value of thermal energy is 20 euros per MWh of thermal energy saved, about 45 euros per MWh of electricity saved.

4. For how many years do I get the subsidy?
From 3 years to 10 depending on the type of intervention. White Energy will handle the sale of the bonds to obtain their economic counter value.
