White Car is Whitenergy's service dedicated to companies that want to enhance the value of their investment in cogeneration or trigeneration plants through Energy Efficiency Certificates (TEEs).
Through a comprehensive technical and administrative process, we support the client from verification of the plant's compliance with CAR requirements to obtaining and managing the certificates.
Each TEE represents a measured and recognized energy saving.
The incentives generated allow efficiency to be transformed into a concrete, stable and measurable economic benefit over time.

White Car
The White Car service consists of two main phases: TEE Orig ination and TEE Management.
Whitenergy accompanies you all along the way, turning the savings generated by high-efficiency cogeneration or trigeneration (CAR) plants into certified and economically valuable Energy Efficiency Certificates (TEEs).
1st Phase - TEE Origination
After installation or qualification of the CAR system, Whitenergy notifies the GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici) of the energy savings achieved with respect to separate production of electricity and heat.
Once approved, TEEs are issued. Whitenergy manages the entire technical and administrative process, paying the customer an economic fee for each certificate obtained.
2nd Stage - TEE Management
Management of TEEs on the market
Whitenergy handles the management and sale of securities on the GME (Gestore dei Mercati Energetici), either on the exchange or through bilateral agreements.
The service includes continuous monitoring of the market to obtain the best possible value, simplifying every bureaucratic aspect and ensuring a concrete and stable return for the customer.

The project
Cereal Docks is an industrial group active in agribusiness processing. The plant involved in the project has constant and significant energy consumption, especially for the drying and processing processes of raw materials.
Initial situation
- High thermal consumption
- No cogeneration system present

The intervention
With the White Car service, two high-efficiency internal combustion engines (3.3 MW and 1.4 MW) were installed and qualified CAR (High Yield Cogeneration).

- 2023: 1,741 + 390 TEE
- 2024: 1,269 + 405 TEES

Thanks to the White Car service, a high-efficiency CAR system was designed and installed, capable of producing electric, thermal, and cooling energy.
