Official figures are still lacking, but according to a study conducted by Confagricoltura at the deadline of the Pnrr’s Agrisolare Park call for proposals, which incentivizes photovoltaics on the buildings of farms in the agricultural sector, applications were submitted for about 35 percent of the available resources, 36 percent of which were in the South.

Of these, five were submitted by White Energy Group (www.weeg.it), an Esco based in Verona that specializes in supporting companies with energy efficiency initiatives. There are currently four projects accepted for funding, for systems with a total capacity of 1,540 kWp and 81.2 kWh of storage, for a total amount of contribution requested of about one million euros.

The funds available for the measure total 1.5 billion euros with the aim of developing at least 375 MW of new photovoltaic installations, and at least 40 percent of the funds are earmarked for southern Italy. The call for tenders plans to allocate about 30 percent of the resources each year, while the publication by the GSE is awaited, of the calendar with the dates for the opening of the next allocation procedures. With the next two years of incentives on the horizon, Whitenergy aims to reach out to more and more companies interested in embarking on a path of environmental sustainability, implementing interventions to reduce consumption and transition to the use of renewable energy. Whitenergy, through consulting or through Epc mode financing, assists companies, starting with the submission of applications to the call for proposals and the preparation of the required project documentation.
