White Energy Group S.p.A. has embarked on a Digitization Plan (DDP) to integrate artificial intelligence and Big Data into its operational processes.

The plan, funded in part by the ERDF 2021-2027 fund, involves migrating the technology infrastructure to Cloud SaaS/PaaS architectures and introducing interconnected ERP, CRM and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems. The goal is to make project monitoring more efficient through predictive analytics tools.

“The integration of Artificial Intelligence into our processes,” says Gianluigi Mele, the company’s CEO, “allows us to move from reactive to proactive management capable of transforming raw data into concrete strategies for lowering costs and emissions, so that we can guarantee industrial partners unprecedented business continuity.

On the technical side, the introduction of AI agents and a centralized database will enable real-time monitoring of the approximately 250 projects under management, the application of forecasting algorithms for the management of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs), and the automation of internal flows between different business areas. The plan also includes a training program aimed at staff.

“Implementing new technologies is not enough,” adds Salvatore Fadda, Head of Origination and Monitoring, “if people are not put in a position to take full advantage of them. The real driver of our transformation is a widespread training plan: we want every resource to fully master the new digital ecosystem and Artificial Intelligence. Only by turning these tools into a daily operational lever can we make White Energy Group increasingly agile, efficient and competitive in the market.”
