The NRP Steering Committee has approved a new revision of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan., with a reshaping of more than 14 billion euros to meet the deadlines set by the European Commission by August 31, 2026. This new impetus to Agrisolar 2025 is critical to the country’s energy future .

The intervention, approved on September 26, 2025, focuses on reallocating resources to meet the targets that are still achievable.

Revised measures include Renewable Energy Communities (RECs),agrivoltaics, biomethane,green hydrogen, renewables in SMEs, and the Transition 5.0 plan..

In particular, funds for Renewable Energy Communities (CER) focus with greater attention on interventions that are already underway or can be implemented immediately, with the aim of ensuring the expansion of a model that is one of the most important levers for widespread decarbonization and the active participation of businesses and citizens in shared renewable energy production.

More resources and continuity for Agrisolar Park 2025

The government also aims to strengthen and extend the “Agrisolar Park“, which incentivizes the construction of photovoltaic systems on agricultural and agro-industrial buildings.

In 2024, 250 million euros had been earmarked reserved for primary production enterprises to install photovoltaic systems on the roofs of farm buildings in the southern regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily.

Pending the official reopening, it is assumed that the new notice may open by November 2025, but the dates remain tentative at present.

In fact, the revision provides for the possibility of extending the measure beyond 2026, thus giving continuity to an initiative that has already generated strong interest in the industry.
