Business energy transition and corporate partnerships with sustainable investments. That’s what happens between White Energy Group and Elianto, two companies with roots in Sardinia, which have signed a business partnership to jointly offer better services to businesses throughout Italy. White Energy, an Esco company specializing in consulting, implementation and support to companies aiming at energyefficiency and savings, facilitates producers of technologies in the field of renewables and energy efficiency, in the provision of their technologies through innovative contractual formulas (Energy Performance Contract, Power Purchase Agreement).
Elianto, established in 2007 as a spin-off of CRS4 (Center for Development and Advanced Studies in Sardinia), is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company that designs, builds and sells turnkey small-scale (up to 5 MWe) solar thermodynamic power plants for electricity and heat production.
The partnership covers the nationwide implementation of Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) plants through EPC contracts financed by Whitenergy. The plants will be built in relation to the product and technology offerings in the civil, commercial, agricultural and industrial sectors on which Elianto operates. Should Whitenergy sign an EPC-type contract with customers shared with Elianto, it commits to purchase the technology developed by Elianto itself. Whitenergy will invest directly in the construction of the plant, zeroing out the customer’s financial commitments and guaranteeing an energy price that compensates for price trends.
“With the introduction of emission reduction and climate neutrality goals to 2050, more and more industrial realities need partners who can support them in identifying and choosing the best energy efficiency solutions and sources of supply and in managing technology transfer,” explains Gianluigi Mele, Ceo ofWhite Energy. “Whitenergy intends to accompany its industrial clients on their path to sustainability, and this path also passes through building partnerships with producers of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
“The exclusive wealth of knowledge and know-how acquired by our company,” explains Piero Pili, Elianto’s CEO, “represent the added value that allows us to compete in the market for concentrated solar power plants for the production of electricity, heat and cooling. The agreement with a company like Whitenergy, which facilitates the transfer of our technology, will be of great help in the diffusion of these products in the renewables sector.”
